I probably sound like any normal teenager.

Very true. People often respond to things they don't understand and things they fear by making jokes and wild statements.

I hope you have found listeners here who understand how strongly you feel about these things. If you would like to chat with me about them, feel free to send me a message.

Hey there, sweet one. I read your post and it struck me quite vigorously that your words ring so true and similar to the thoughts in my own mind. The stigma surrounding suicide and depression, particularly around teens, is a huge one, and it's terrible - to say the least. Similarly, I think stigma is appalling and something dreadful to face; my PMs are open all the time if you want to start a chat, okay?

I'm by no means an expert at changing the world. But I'm a firm believer in doing the small things, especially to fight stigma. Ranging from partaking in social media, to starting 7Cups team to fight it, to starting conversations in my daily life. It's the little things that build up to make a change.

Thank you for creating this post, and helping to open people's eyes. You're awesome. <3
