A very small way I cope with feeling depressed is by crafting my social media! I subscribe, follow, and view really upbeat content. I stray away from self deprecating jokes, from intensely shocking news, and I make sure to view things with positive messages. I follow body positive models on Instagram, for example, and a "Gentle Reminders" self-help blog on Tumblr, etc. I intake the things that are important, of course, because it's also important to not live in a bubble of ignorance. I'm finding a balance, and it's helping significantly!

One of my favorite rappers has two sayings that fall deep with me and every time I fell down I repeat them in my head over and over. My favorite is "Look up. Now look down. Up is endless. Down has an ending. Always look up!" The second saying is "No matter the amount of negativity you are presented with, five minutes from now can be your very best moment"
