An evil monster that randomly chose to throw me into a deep hole. An evil monster that pushes me farther and farther down everytime i get close to getting out that stupid hole. An evil monster that convinces me to isolate myself from anyone who shows compassion towards me. An evil monster that is destroying my life.

(more than one word, but one word cant describe what depression has put me through)

Relentless.

Sometimes I picture it like an endless, black vine in my brain, growing in strength and ruthlessness as it takes over my mind, my sanity, my hope. It crushes the person I am, until I'm only a faltering mirage of myself, and the depression is in me. It is me. Some days I can beat it back into its deep, black crevice, and I can feel again, care again - be whole again. Other days, I cannot so much as lift a finger to prevent its relentless invasion of my mind.
