Weaning Off Effexor

My primary care doctor is currently weaning me off Effexor and getting me on Trintellix. The withdraw symptoms have been making what is already a hard time for me even harder.

Is there any relief to the brain zaps and other withdrawal symptoms?

I have an important, busy, and stressful job I can't exactly take a break from, and getting ahold of a therapist and setting an appointment has been unpredictably difficult. Some days I feel like I need to check into a hospital just to be able to breathe.

I feel like I'm rambling and trying to stay on topic, but I am dealing with a lot and my anxiety and depression symptoms are making things hard to cope. I need a lot of help.
