You sound like me when I had my first and most recent child (stillborn). My first kid was in 2016, and I kept rocking back and forth in my dark bedroom alone. The guy that helped me create her didn't treat me right. He cheated and started a new family, and his family weren't someone I was comfortable having around.

Alone, I sat in the dark, rocking back and forth. Then, I met someone kind and nice. His name was Clint and he was the same age as me, except I'm older than him by several months. He and I were best friends, even if he lived far away. I loved him so much, we were dating and being extremely kinky.

Three years ago, I met my husband, and he advised me to cut my relationship with my friend or he'll leave me for good. I didn't want to leave my friend of three years, but I also didn't want to throw away a potential relationship that could flourish.

The story has a different ending, but the point of it is that subtle events like this still haunt me to this day. I felt my soulmate was my friend. We connected a lot, and he was an exceptional listener. I regret not developing tough skin and telling him how I felt during the time we did talk. Reading your post gave me a sense of awareness and the desire to comfort you. I feel like I'm reading an old journal entry of what I used to write.

You will find your soulmate and grow into your own once again. You're a beautiful soul, and even if you don't think so, just know that I do. We will get through this together and find a sense of belonging in the world we live in, before it is time for us to go. Your child is the best of the best, and their love will pull you through those tough, lonely nights.
