i feel so very sad and discouraged all the time...i've lost all that willpower i once had. it was one of the few things i prided myself on, and one of the few things that kept me going...now i wish to do nothing - not eat, not sleep, not watch *** reels, not read books, not play guitar, not study or even move...

and i feel so *** unloved and unsupported all the time. nobodys there when i need them yet they still have the audacity to call themselves my family/friends... "blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb." well what happens when every single frnd u make is no better than ur family? when, no matter how many boundaries u set, how many frndships u break, the same thing keeps happening? i hate the feeling of loneliness... i hate feeling like if i left the world, that no one wud miss me, that many - true to their words -, including several ex-frnds and my mother, wud even rejoice.

i want to rlly know someone...and i want them to rlly know me...to love even the ugliest, rawest parts of me...but every single relation i have has failed to do so, and looking at this success rate, i might deem it impossible... at least, for me...

it has, quite rightly, been said- to be known is to be loved...and for my part, im inclined to believe i have never truly been known at all:(

@deetz

🥺

Loneliness hurts like no other .

I'm sorry you are feeling this way.

I'm sorry your family and friends make you feel unseen and unloved.

But your life matters and it has value and you now need to be your own advocate, the love starts with you living yourself, not looking for validation off the wrong people and when you feel happy with you, you will be open to receive the love you deserve from others 💕💜

I'm really sorry you're going through all of these and having to experience all these negative emotions.

If you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. I'd love to know you and to help you pick yourself back up. Just reach out and I'll respond to you. If I'm not available or don't reply immediately, don't assume that these are empty words. I mean everything I'm saying to you. But if you don't want to reach out. Just remember that you are deserving of love and care and anyone that makes you feel otherwise,is just a hater and should be ignored.

@deetz I’m really glad you shared this. What you’re feeling is heavy, and it deserves to be met with gentleness, not judgment. So let’s start here: you are not broken. You are hurting, and that’s different. Hurt can be soothed. Hurt can be witnessed. Hurt can be held.

It makes sense that you feel discouraged when the very thing that used to keep you going, your willpower, feels out of reach. That kind of loss can shake your sense of identity, especially when it was one of the few things you felt proud of. But even now, in this moment, you’re showing something powerful: you’re still reaching out. You’re still trying to be understood. That’s not nothing. That’s a flicker of strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

The loneliness you describe isn’t just about being alone, it’s about feeling unseen, unsupported, and unloved by the people who were supposed to show up for you. That betrayal cuts deep. And when it keeps happening, even with new people, it can start to feel like the world is rigged against you. But I want to say this clearly: the way others have treated you is not a reflection of your worth. It’s a reflection of their limitations.

You deserve relationships where your boundaries are honored, where your rawness is met with compassion, and where your presence is cherished, not tolerated. You deserve to be known in the way you long for: fully, deeply, and without conditions. And while it may feel impossible right now, that doesn’t mean it always will be. Sometimes the people who can truly see us aren’t the ones we’ve already met. Sometimes they’re still on their way.

You said, “to be known is to be loved,” and I believe that with you. I also believe that you are knowable. You are lovable. Even in your sadness. Even in your silence. Even in the parts you’ve been taught to hide.

If it’s okay with you, I’d like to keep walking beside you. No pressure, no fixing, just presence. You don’t have to carry this alone.
