Help getting motivated and sleeping less
The past month or so I've really been struggling staying motivated. Like some days I will literally get up in time to go to work and then when I get home for work all I want to do is just lie there and do nothing. I seriously feel like a sloth and the laziest person ever and HATE it. I know I should just do the things I need to do but after being smiling and cheerful all day when I'm anything but that really drains me. When I get home I have zero motivation to clean, work on art projects, work out or even just be social. I've been trying to get back on a set sleeping schedule of 8 hours but I normally sleep more than that because I'm just too depressed to get out of the bed in the morning. Does anyone else feel like they sleep too much because they're depressed? And if so, how do you stop and get motivated to get your life back on track? Thanks in advance for any advice :)
@warmheartedSugar7997 - I think this is something a lot of people here can probably relate to. For me, I know that I struggle most to get motivated to do something when I look at everything I need to do and see a seemingly endless list of things I should be doing. Sometimes, I think it's important to remember that it's not always about getting EVERYTHING done, but rather about taking steps forward. Is there one thing you can take from the list and focus on? Even if the rest doesn't happen or takes more time, what is a small change you can make today to help yourself move in a positive direction?
