@blondeylynn
Some people engage in mindfulness and breathing techniques and practice - until it becomes second nature. A good example to research might be the 54321 breathing technique. Other strategies include leaving the room, focussing on other tasks, saying less, etc.

I'm glad that you opened up. It's definitely human to sometimes feel mad at others. Hopefully, more people will come and provide other valid strategies and ideas too.

@blondeylynn That's a difficult one. Was your anger completely unjustified or just over the top?

Traditional ways to repair relationships include sincere apology and making amends (doing something nice for someone to compensate for being mean earlier). You want to reassure the people you love that you really do love them, I guess. Sharing your feelings with them genuinely and openly is also useful, I'd say.

But I know that's a kind of pat answer that maybe oversimplifies the situation you're in. If you'd like to chat about the details, just click on my profile picture and message me.
