Sometimes I want to go to bed super early, and other times I can't seem to fall asleep. It's always different.

I'm really sorry for those who are strugling with depression and anxiety. I've similar problems for a while now. I tried some antidepressants for a short time, but they gave me some side effects I didn't like (insomnia, sexual dysfunction...both pretty common sides mentioned on Canadian Pharmacy website). I was glad when they took me off that.

My sleep habits become very unsettling. I'm exhausted, so I sleep throughout the entire day, wake up, and immediately pass out from exhaustion again. And this wouldn't have been so bad, if it weren't for the fact I sleep for 20 hours maximum.

I keep trying to stay awake, but my body aches. Everything just aches. Life becomes overwhelming. I just need to pass out. Right now the only reason why I'm able to stay awake, is because I forced myself to stay up and right now I'm too upset to even sleep.

(Huh. Guess I just figured it all out. If I don't want to keep passing out from the exhaustion, I just got to make myself cry.)

It's like my brain won't shut off, and it ends up keeping me up for hours on end.

With my depression, I over sleep or have nightmares. However it hard for me to get to sleep between my brain doesn't stop worries and thoughts because of my anxiety.

@peachy3bubble My suggestion is to mediation and focus on good things or a happy place before you go to bed. I do that sometimes.
