Will love to hear from you
Sense I talk to a therapist today was a lot better I'm about to go back over the road I hope everybody can find a way to cope and get better 💪🏾👍🏾.
Dpression makes it hard for me to fall asleep, but impossible to want to wake up once I have finally fallen asleep. I usually just stare at the stars until I finally pass out around 3 am
I definitely haven't slept "too much" for the past month. I have a late shift at work, so pretty much 6 days a week, I'm just about to pass out walking home at midnight. I really want sleep.
I am definitely trying to get in the habit of daily meditation. At least 5 minutes of calming music; and shutting off rest of electronics.
I find it difficult to fall asleep, because I feel mentally restless regardless of what I do unless do something like read for a large period of time. It's extremely frustrating and has made reading less enjoyable as now it's more of a means to an end than a hobby. I am exhausted everyday, and I wish I could be asleep all the time. It's very frustrating, especially as I never feel refreshed even after sleeping 9-10 hours.
My depression usually manifests in sleeping alllll the time. I come home from work, I watch a little tv, and then sleep until 12-1 the next day when its time to get ready for work again.
Not ideal by any means. I am going to try very hard this time in early sobriety to not sleep so much.
Latley I've been falling asleep around 11:30 or midnight every night without even getting ready for bed. Then I'll wake up around 2-3 and do the things I skipped over. I'm sure this isn't healthy and I'd like to be able to follow a routine again. But when I do this it's usually because I'm suddenly really tired and don't feel like I don't even have the energy to get ready for bed normally. I've been hitting snooze a lot more lately too when I'm supposed to be getting up.
I rarely sleep all night. I went to 3rd shift and that helped, but I started not sleeping during the day. Sometimes, I can stay up all day and sleep about 3 or 4 hours. I can't eat when my anxiety starts. In the past ,12 months Ive lost 40 pounds. It feels weird not to eat all day and still not get hungry.
Always.... I can never sleep but on the weekends when I sleep forever.... the other day I was up at 6. Got really tired about 1 slept for 2 hrs was up until 5 am with taking melatonin at 2 am ... then I was awake at 8 and well. Im still awake....
One year back, I was suffering from depression and I never had anyone to talk about my problems because I never trusted anyone in my life to share my feelings.
Usually I sleep at 10 or 9pm and I wake up at between 6-7 am. When I was in depression, I started sleeping at midnight. Even sometimes I would be woken up till 4 in the morning. Then I would somehow manage to close my eyes and go to sleep. I would wake up at 10-11 AM in the morning.
I find that I can sleep the entire day away if I let myself. My body will be begging me for rest and I just think that napping will make it feel better but when I wake up, I'll still be so tired that I'll slip into another nap if I'm not careful.
