Now I havent been able to sleep in four days. I basically just wait that my body knocks itself out from exhaustion

I can't sleep just by going to bed, I have to wait till I get so exhausted that I fall asleep. If I ever catch myself lying awake in bed, I get caught up in my negative thoughts... that ultimately leads to excessive crying or a panic attack... which keeps me awake even longer. So, in doing so, my sleep cycle keeps changing. I might be sleeping in the night now, but in a couple days it'll be the opposite.

When I do go to sleep, it tends to last for 10-12 hours. I can't really seem to stop living this way.

I usually can't sleep until 3 am or even later, and I usually I wake up at 12 or even 1 pm. Also when I try to sleep earlier I always end up waking up at 12 and I still feel exhausted the whole day :/

For me, sleeping is weird. I can never fall asleep at night, even if Im totally drained. I could be completely exhausted and yawning, but I dont really fall asleep until 4 or 5 am. Sometimes its even after 8 am. But once Im asleep, I dont want to wake up. I can sleep for as long as my body wants to. Sometimes, to try and reset my sleep schedule, I dont sleep at all until the next night, then I crash by 1 am, but Im never able to fall asleep before midnight.

The reason why this is weird is because during the day, I can sleep no problem anywhere. Once I feel like I want to sleep, I shut my eyes and drift off. Its really nice. But I just wish that could happen at night instead.

I can sleep at any time for a long time...but if I sleep during the day I feel 500 times worse and just end up crying afterwards

my sleep schedule is perfect but my dreams are boring on the rare occasion that i have them. when i do dream, it's often about someone i don't talk to anymore who i'm trying to get over.

I have been sleeping very poorly since I have been depressed. But I did manage to get some Melatonin and it seems to be helping. I still wake up in the middle of the night but then I am able to go back to sleep until the morning.

@sunnyBunny6538

I slept until 4pm today. It's not even that unusual for me.
