One thing I always overthink is....
What Im supposed to do, what is expected of me, instead of what I believe is right and makes me happy- constantly making the same mistakes and beating myself up for them,
@Hp4ever omg we're in the same boat right now
Everything.
How everything can go wrong so quickly, even when you're trying your best
hmm, i really tend to overthink peoples behaviour and their own intentions
oh he didnt say anything in response? i mustve act weirdly
she reacted in this way and laughed? what did i say wrong? did she laugh at me? what??
they didnt notice me? am i that bad? did i make an awful first impression?
Oh man, assuming bad scary things everywhere is so cool am i right? (no)
But the funny thing is, one day i told this to one of the scariest and most sarcastic people around me, and you know what theyve answered? It was so much simpler than i expected:
Why do you think you able to predict whats in my head? Dont jump to conclusions about me without even involving me.
And it makes so much sense.
@NorthernAlien Very relatable. But indeed, I once had a workshop on communication, and one of the main things I remembered from it is that we assume we know what other people think or want too often, and that we shouldn't, because it impairs good and clear communication. Still hard to keep that in mind in daily life though, it's easy to start worrying you said or did something wrong (often for no reason)
The things I missed out on, having been a responsible teen mom.
Everything I haven't done in my life. How unsucessful i have been in accomplishing my dreams.
My health or anything related to it.
Whether what I said was the right thing to say
What others think about me, I worry so much about it (without even realizing sometimes, it has become so natural) that I just refuse to open up to them... Now in university it's even harder. I always try to change so to fit what I think others like, but I don't actually know anything bout them...
I overthink scenarios
@ScaleyScales1212. Im too
@ScaleyScales1212 I overthink life and death
