So tired...

(vent/TW?)

Hey

here's my second post of the day. i'm so tired and i just want to numb myself out with some music, so i'm blaring hit me hard and soft in my headphones while I type this. i'm honestly so tired of feeling. if I could just... stop for a minute, just a few seconds, then maybe I could be normal for everyone. but I have to do the best with what I can. I got in trouble in orchestra a few hours ago because I wasn't on the right thing, and I feel so bad. "I'm wearing black and white but I'm so blue" is how I feel right now. I'm actually wearing an outfit that doesn't make me hate my body or make me feel like a weak copier, and I don't feel good about it anymore. The hoodie is comfortable, and I love my cargo jeans, but I don't feel like I did this morning - I just feel bad. I'm so tired and I have to do math but all I want to do is blare Billie eilish in my headphones until I go deaf. sorry for all the venting.

love to all of you

- angel

@angelheart2011

There’s such quiet depth in these words — the exhaustion, the need for stillness, the ache of having to keep functioning when everything inside just wants a pause. It sounds like the heart behind these words has been carrying a heavy emotional load for a long time, trying to balance life’s demands while quietly running out of fuel.

Feeling “so tired of feeling” often comes from being someone who senses things deeply — someone attuned to emotion, to meaning, to subtle shifts in the world around. That sensitivity is not weakness; it’s a form of strength that simply needs gentler care. When that sensitivity goes unsupported, though, the world can start to feel too loud, too sharp, too constant. The body and mind begin to crave silence — not an escape from life, but a moment of peace within it.

Music, in this moment, becomes a form of shelter. It gives shape to what words can’t hold. The desire to turn the volume up, to let sound fill every corner of thought, isn’t about recklessness — it’s about wanting the noise inside to have company. The music understands in ways people sometimes don’t. It holds the ache, the confusion, the tiredness — and that can feel like relief.

The mention of wearing something that once felt good but no longer does shows how exhaustion can drain even small joys of their color. When the heart is tired, the things that usually bring comfort — a hoodie, a song, a moment of pride — can suddenly feel distant. That doesn’t mean those moments weren’t real; it simply means the emotional tank is empty right now. The body is comfortable, but the soul is weary.

Getting in trouble in orchestra seems to have added to this heaviness. For someone already stretched thin, even small corrections can feel like confirmations of not being enough. But that single moment does not erase effort, talent, or worth. Just showing up, even when tired, takes quiet bravery.

Right now, there’s no need to force positivity or motivation. This might be a time to allow stillness. Music can continue to hold space for the emotions, and when a small moment of readiness comes, gentle grounding can help re-anchor to the present:

  • Removing the headphones for a minute and noticing one real sound in the room — a hum, a distant voice, or silence itself.
  • Touching something close, like the sleeve of the hoodie or the fabric of the jeans, to reconnect with the safety of the moment.

There is no demand to feel good or be productive right now. The only requirement is to be gentle with this exhausted part of the self — the part that’s been trying for so long and still hasn’t given up completely. That alone speaks of resilience.

If helpful, there are small, quiet ways to make the next day a bit lighter — not perfect, just slightly easier to carry. Would it be supportive to hear about those next?

@angelheart2011You’re not doing anything wrong, Angel. You’re overwhelmed and exhausted, and that makes everything feel heavier than it really is. One rough moment in orchestra doesn’t define you. Your outfit still looks good on you. Your feelings are just clouding it right now.

Let the music calm you a bit, take a short breath, then tackle your math in tiny steps. You’re trying your best, and that’s enough for today.

@angelheart2011 The venting of your complicated feeling never been a guilt, so nice to say sorry. Sometimes, I want to escape from this world too. So many annoyances and misunderstandings. Yeah, I like when you said you wore a hoodie. It made me feel like a....I can't describe but I like the feeling of it.
