Why do I feel empty all the time?

All the time I just feel empty. Whether I'm alone or with a bunch of people I enjoy spending time with I just feel empty. An unshakable feeling that's causing me to stop eating. Stop sleeping and stop doing school work. But with this feeling of emptiness I just want to burst out In tears and hug the closest person to me but I can't cry. I have the feeling and the urge that I'm about to cry but nothing happens, juts a constant battle between emptiness and crying. I can't talk to anyone about it though....not in person at least so I'm looking here for somewhere to talk about it because it's killing me inside

@Hyperion8400 hey there!

I know what you are going through. I feel numb most of the days. Usually music solves it. Or talking to someone.

Have you considered meeting a psychiatrist? Or talking about how you feel with your parents. Usually people don't understand such things until they go through it themselves.

More power to you!

@Searcher47

Hey, I've tried talking to people in person but I physically can't do it...i freeze up and can't get a word out but I find talking to people over the internet a lot easier and I'm kinda using it as a steeping stone at the minute until I'm able to talk to people in person but thank you!

@Hyperion8400 hey!

Maybe you need to see why you can't talk. Perhaps you are afraid of people judging you. But hey, you can surprise people!

But it's good to see you trying. Keep moving forward!
