First time here
So this is my first time on this website so we'll see how this goes.
I've had depression for over 10 years now, so that already doesn't help my situation haha. I'm a mom to two beautiful little girls, and wife to my wonderful husband. My girls are both under the age of 2, and right now I feel like I'm not being the best for them. My anxiety has been thru the roof, I can't keep my house clean, I blow up over tiny things, I hardly even cook a healthy meal for yhem, let alone eat right myself. I've got almost no support with anything. I love my husband and he works his butt off to take care of all of us since I'm not working anymore; but i feel like I can't talk to him about my problems cuz he has a job he hates with coworkers who are jerks and idiots, and is starting up school to get out of said job and into something more suited for him. I have no friends to lean on cuz they all moved away/have too many kids to have time to hang out anymore. My parents are too busy "working out" their stupid problems (actual stupid problems, not exaggerating) to be of any help. I'm so close to just giving up and leaving, but I know I can't do that to my girls and my husband, and I love them too much to leave them. I'm just not right for them anymore. I'm afraid I can't support my husband enough to help him succeed, and I'm afraid I'll ruin my girls for life. I don't deserve them in my life.

Hi ReliableCranberry3172
Depression hits all of us at the times when it is not needed. I am happy to see your husband is furthering his education to help you and the girls.Have you tried talking when you two hoave the times about things, maybe making a list of things of your concern and let him know about it.Open communication is important and also self care ( making sure your takeing time for you ).
I am here for you at anytime you need to vent
So this isnt my first time using this website but its my first time posting to a forum.
My depression has been great up until a few days ago and I dont really have anyone I can talk to about it as my family just think my depression is an act I put on. Im currently unemployed and I went to enquire about a job as a 1st year apprentice in hairdressing and I was really excited for it as hairdressing has been something Im very interested in, but the manager of the salon was extremely rude and judgemental, she made me feel stupid because I never graduated from high school, she made feel like shit because I couldnt afford to go to tafe (university) and she just overall triggered my depression, she did offer me to go for a trial but I never went and now my mum is making me feel bad because I didnt call to say I wasnt coming, but what she doesnt understand is that this woman made me feel so upset that I was nearly in tears, she left me a voicemail and just hearing her voice gave me chills and made my anxiety and depression worse, I just did not want to face her again, I know it would have been nice to ring her but she made me feel so lower class I just didnt want that toxic additude in my life, sometimes I just dont understand why people feel the need to treat others like this or even feel the need to act like they are better than everyone.
Sorry for my complaining, it just feels nice to have a group of people who might understand what Im feeling
@Katt1
I am sorry the owner made you feel like this, that is not a proper way to act when people are applying to work for their company. I am here for you since you stated you have no one to turn to.
