Hello everyone, Im new here and Im honored to be able to share my feelings with other people and not feel alone. Ill try to make this short. I basically was in a very serious relationship. I was engaged to be married this year but we broke up in February. So early on but the break up left me very traumatized ! It has left me with nothin but depression. Its like when he decided to call it quits and give up he took my heart, self esteem ,confidence and dignity with him. I did not want to wake up , get out of bed. I had dark curtains in my room so when it was day time it still seemed like night time and dark . I didnt eat or talk to anyone. I lost weight and hair. I felt sick to my stomach, I cried for days and days. I had to seek a therapist . It was awful. Fast forward to today, I feel alittle okay , its manageable but I still have my moments where I will constantly cry. Certain memories are there , places, songs, things, tv shows, you name it ! I tried to throw out everything and start fresh . Its so bad that I have to move to a new environment because we lived together where Iam now. Thank god im moving on two weeks to my new place . But it still sucks . I try to pray and meditate, cook, read, write, yoga, eat healthy . But I still cry. Anyone can possibly talk to me ? Any other ideas that may help that you have tried for your depression? Or anyone dealt with depression from a break up ?
