I have had epilepsy since I was 16 .. I'm 31 now. I've went throught a lot of different struggles, but I NEVER let this disability hold me back. Too many people think it's the end of their life and it's not! The seizures are freakin scary, but there is help now, especially in this new generation. I was basically a lab rat in 2004 when they tried a left temporal lobectomy on me. Helped my grand mal seizures, but took away a lot of memory, concentration, attention span .. But to all those newly diagnosed and young - there is SO much help now! Don't be afraid!
