Stressful Start?
I hope tomorrow is better. Today has been stressful. The maker of my speech recognition program released an update that caused the program not to work. So I had to reinstall and adjust everything.
@DonaldK Hopefully you got it back to where it needs to be. Updates are frustrating, one I did means any time I temporarily lose the internet connection I can't get my laptop to reconnect without restarting it :(
Had a pretty good day today. Slow to start, but did a fair bit of shopping this afternoon. It's not until I got back home and sat down where I realized it didn't seem to take an excessive toll on my energy.
@DonaldK I am sick of my Dr treating me like a guinea pig and just giving me different meds all the time, including test meds, and now he put me on a really high dose of meds which I think makes no sense so I stopped taking it. I have epilepsy. I've had it for almost 20 years. This Dr thinks he can fix me w/a bunch of drugs. No. I want to stay on the same stuff I've been on for 11 years now. He doesn't seem to want to accept that he cannot "cure" me. I am looking for a new Dr also b/c I don't like this guy anymore, even though I've been seeing him for almost 20 years. Are Dr's today just in it for the money? Writing scripts and getting paid for a little 10 minute aptmnt?
@TransAm85 I fully understand your frustration. :-( I agree with you that doctors are more focused on making the money versus the patient.
