There has been really nice weather here, it's been really unusual for spring just nice warm days without big jumps. It snowed this morning though, typical for spring here.
Not happy to see the snow, but my asthma was actually quite bad this past week as street cleaning has been happening. So hopefully the snow will wash a bunch of the dust, mold and other stuff floating in the air!
As for strength coming from struggle - physically I don't feel that way. Yes, some stress is good physically, it's how muscles are built and how our adaptative immune system works. But when my asthma acts up? That can actually cause long term damage to my lungs. Ditto for when I get swelling attacks.
Mentally I feel like it can be similar. Minor stressors help us learn how to cope with hardships. Big things though can mean that future struggles pile on and they weaken us, especially if not dealt with completely before the next thing comes along.
So without any struggle at all - there's little strength. But too much doesn't build strength either.
