We have square dance lessons on Thursday night so we are going to go out some where on Friday night and have dinner and probably rent a movie or two. My son which is 18 will probably go with us also.
How are things going for you in general this week?
Going to be meeting my new PCP tomorrow which I hope she can do her job unlike the current one that everyone is telling me to fire. I have never had so many doctors tell me to fire another provider before and my therapist is saying the same thing. It is a brand new company that I haven't worked with before so having an open mind and going to be doing my mindfulness skills during the appt.
What's going well for you this week, what difficulties are you having?
Difficulties are all the providers but found a Pain therapist that can maybe help call them and be my advocate so encouraged with last Thursday's appt with her.
@AffyAvo
@DanaMH Yes, dealing with medical professionals can be complicated. I hope the new PCP and the pain therapist work well for you!
You have some good plans for later this week!
@AffyAvo heyy Affy i hope your well
@CaringBrit Still just really fatigued. I hope you're doing well!
@AffyAvo aww n im ok
I am working on getting routines into place so that I do my physical therapy regularly and some other things that will benefit my health. It is hard to get new habits to stick, but I am trying.
Great plan Marg! The habit will get easier over time!
@AffyAvo
I am just wondering, and sorry if this is not the right place for this, but some communities have a way to find posts that need a response. Could we have that in the Disability Forum? Or do we have that and I just don't know where it is?
@1Marg1 We have that. On the main disability page, underneath the leaders, there's a way to sort the forum threads. It automatically starts with 'most popular' which is actually by the most recent posts in the different categories. Pick 'Needs Reply' instead.
@AffyAvo
THANK YOU!!!!!
@AffyAvo
Thanks, I guess I am not the only one
@AffyAvo
My husband and I went out to dinner for Valentine's Day. Generally, I refuse to eat out (I prefer to order out and eat at home), but my fibromyalgia wasn't too out of control, so I thought it was a good idea.
The good thing about this week was that I was able to make it to all of my appointments (that is increasingly rare)
Generally, I have been ok this week
