Hiya sun . My disability isn't visible really, but it affects my growth ima much smaller than I should be,.most people treat me as they see me, I look like a little kid an people first reaction is to talk to me in that tone adults use on small children. When they realize ima 14 then the looks really start. The awkward not knowing what to say when they find out I have a brain injury. I have been Well judged for some of the issues my injury causes.
@Fireskye13 It must be very tough to endure these comments and talking to you as if you are still a child.
It’s hard to be small for sure!
1) My disability isn't much visible and strangers doesn't really say much. Only my sister bullies me sometimes.
2) People just say that i'm short and sometimes I feel like people talk bad about my face.
3) Those hurts me, but I try let it be.
4) My week hasn't been good as far.
5) Last week I did things I needed. Sadly my loneliness got stronger.
@Emiliako It must be very tough for you to listen to all the rude comments and to endure bullying from your sister. I am sorry that your last week wasn't good for you. I hope that it eventuelly gets better.
@Emiliako

My sister isn’t mean to me she just doesn’t want to talk to me, it’s sad because she’s my only family left
@gentleSun78 Maybe it's because I isolate much of the time or maybe because I have gotten old and grouchy but I do not pay attention to judgements, opinions and comments of others unless maybe they are somebody I care about and respect.
My week has been going ok, so far everything is on track and I haven't forgotten anything.
Much of the judgement I tend to get is related to disbelief. It's scariest coming from medical professionals, as I don't always get life saving treatment as soon as I should.
I'm not feeling too great, one of my conditions has become too severe so that the treatment for it can now actually be harmful so I had to stop and get injections of meds I'm not really happy to be using.
1) Well people don't really know about my disability but I get picked on by teachers. I isolate myself from everyone 24/7 so that helps.
2) Saying I don't ask for help or I'm not trying hard enough.
3) I normally try to ignore it or do something to take my mind off of it.
4) It was okay
5) Not really sure but it was a busy week .
I've been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia but I've been having symptoms for years. I don't want to tell my family because they invalidated me all those times I told them I was in pain or exhausted. "It's not that bad, get back to work." "Stop making excuses " "You need get out more" "You need to exercise more" "You're a hypochondriac " "You need to get off your phone " "You have to start trying" And when they think I'm always in bed because I'm "merely upset" from my past traumas. "Stop having a victim mindset, you need to move on from the past" I can't handle more invalidation from them. I lost so much trust in them.
I’m doing okay this week, trying to stay more active with walking
