@ChildGoddessFlute

I have mild scoliosis so I can understand some of that pain. I am glad you got out to go to a concert, sounds like fun!

What exciting/fun thing(s) did you do this weekend?
My partner surprised me by booking us two nights at a local hotel. Didn't do much because of my sore back, just lay around, left the room mainly to eat and did a lot of talking. Watching some TV. But it was nice nonetheless.

What has your mood been like recently?
Ups and downs, pretty much all over. Mood swings have been strong lately, so it's difficult to really say what it's been like in general.

I don't personally have scoliosis or know anyone with it. So it was nice to get some information about it, thank you for that. I wish everyone with it all the best.

I've been outside in the garden a fair bit. We should be getting a fair bit of rain starting at some point tonight so that will help me rest.

All over the place. The nice weather, being outside, seeing plants pop up is nice. I'm dealing with issues with the healthcare system and I may have another diagnosis coming soon, not sure if additional tests are needed or maybe an important test is normal but for some reason is being hidden from me and I wouldn't expect to be seeing that specialist this soon again if things were normal. Also some family issues adding to stress.

I actually think I had some congenital scoliosis but it was mild. I did try seeing a chiropractor before though and they said it was gone so I guess it corrected. I do have one leg that is significantly shorter than another. Not really enough where an untrained person would notice it even if 'examining me' I don't suspect. Enough though were it does lead to a bit of unevenness with muscle strength and when I danced as a teen it was noticeable to me with bar work. So probably similar types of problems to someone with mild scoliosis although easier to rectify - I need orthotics as I do have structural issues with my feet and my great orthotist adjusted for the length difference with a slight lift in one.

So there's a tip for anyone who is getting orthotics - I do NOT recommend one of the companies where you see someone they do a mold or impression, perhaps gait analysis, and then send them out. Go and see an orthotist as they will make adjustments that are very personalized that cannot be achieved by having them made offsite. As an added bonus they also renew my old pair so I have an extra useable pair for free.

@AffyAvo

I agree orthotics is the way to go! I am glad you've been able to get out and about. It is currently raining here so hopefully it heads your way!
