What do you do to get comfortable? Do you like to wrap yourself up like this hedgehog or do you prefer something different?

How are things going this week?

What's going well? What are some of your struggles?

@AffyAvo

What do you do to get comfortable? Do you like to wrap yourself up like this hedgehog or do you prefer something different?

*It's almost impossible for me to get comfortable, especially by using the same technique every time. Whatever worked 2 hours ago may not work again for another month. Despite the techniques not always being effective, I do have a couple things that I can do, sometimes. For example: I have tendency to break out in hives randomly and without warning, but I do have 1 blanket that is ok against my skin, I tend to sweat a lot in my sleep, so I use a special pillow that automatically adjusts to cool me off if I start sweating, I use hydrocortisone almost like lotion on some areas, I have a special body wash that calms my skin, rather than make me break out in hives (it's the only one I can use and know for sure my skin won't freak out), and lastly, I have aromatherapy freezer things for pretty much my whole body (sort of like ice packs, but made from fabric and easier to manipulate)

How are things going this week?

*This week hasn't been particularly bad or good, which is rare and a good thing.

What's going well?

*Nothing is going bad, but also nothing is going particularly well, either.

What are some of your struggles?

*I ran out of my migraine medicine (I get 9 pills per month, and can safely take up to 6 in one day, but it's all my insurance will pay for), and I can't get it until the 17th

@K87 I'm glad it's not a bad week at least! I understand the skin stuff, I don't typically get hives unless I've been in contact with things that I'm allergic to that I can mostly avoid, but I have so many different topical medications for other skin problems and deal with lots of itching.

I hope you're able to manage well without your migraine meds this upcoming week. Insurance can be so unreasonable at times!
