@AffyAvo lots of people say I'm strong, a warrior. But I don't feel that way,tw) I'm a coward for not trying to go back and help the other slaves. But I don't know how to and I know i wouldn't live very long if I did. So I'm not strong I'm not brave. Although I do tell others how brave they are alot🤔🤔 I guess it's different for different people
ive been ill since like 2 weeks before Halloween😥 it's just a unknown virus. But knowing that the doctors said it will be a miracle if I live to 40. And that I'll more than likely become completely paralysed at some point. (I'm only half paralysed now) buttttt it's xmasssss 😁😁😁yaaay! I love xmas. So my hopes and faith are high! Gives everyone a giant festive tiny hug ❤
@Tinywhisper11 You know, I think that you are VERY strong, to know your limits, and to courageously do what is best for yourself. A lot of people think that self sacrifice is strong, but I think it is only indicative of strength when you sacrifice enough to save others, while knowing you can still save yourself.
It is like that thing where they say you should throw someone a life preserver when you can, but do not swim into troubled waters without it, unless you intend to go down with them, which does no one any good, you know?
You deserve an amazing life after all that you have gone through. I do not know what it is, but I feel like you have great things ahead of you, and whatever it is, you so so so deserve it! Every time I see you post about a giant tiny hug or a festive hug, I think, Wow, she has been through so much, and still she is here in this community, doing all she can to lift others up.
Thank you for being the perfect kind of strong that makes me look forward to when I am going to see you sharing giant tiny festive hugs! So, here is a giant tiny festive hug for YOU! 😀
@Tinywhisper11 Also:

@niceSea1350 yaaaay! That magic tea is already working😁 I can feel it ❤❤ thankyou
@Tinywhisper11
You are incredibly strong and brave! It’s ok to let yourself take time to heal after going through so much.
You are a survivor. That makes you strong and brave. You being here gives other people strength knowing that there’s a way out of similar situations.
You’re allowed to live your life. You’re not responsible for anyone else’s. You’ve got to put yourself first before helping others.
💛💛

How do you feel about being called strong by others?
If it's not family or a close friend calling me that, it feels almost patronising. I want to be strong. Some people would argue that I'm strong just for surviving, and maybe that's true to a degree. But I don't feel like I'm very strong - I just lie in bed all day and only ever do anything if there's an external deadline.
What characteristics do you associate with being strong?
Exercising a lot. Being confident. Self-discipline - like being able to do basic tasks instead of having no energy and just staying in bed on YouTube like I do.
How are you doing today?
I slept all day. I'm not very happy with myself about that. I wanted to do laundry. But maybe I can do it after dinner instead. At least I managed to go to my lecture today.
@ItsReganingRain
I get that, it doesn't really feel all that strong to just keep putting one foot in front of the other, especially when not feeling victorious when doing that.
When it comes to resting, I try to remind myself it's not nothing, a lot is happening in my body (or chemical processes in the brain) when I am resting, hopefully that makes you feel a bit better about it too. Plus getting to a lecture is productive too!
@AffyAvo
How do you feel about being called strong by others? It makes me feel like they see a superficial version of me, not the entirety of who I am. I am a combination of strength and weakness, and it ebbs and flows, changes every day. Others having future expectations of me, rather than negotiating expectations, is very triggering.
What characteristics do you associate with being strong? Discipline, self control, patience, motivation, joy, long suffering, wisdom, generosity (materially and emotionally/spiritually), love.
How are you doing today? Today is a good day, mostly resting. Thank you for asking. You? 😊
How do you feel about being called strong by others? I believe it sometimes. I have gone through a lot, and my inner demons try to drag me down. However I am a surviving warrior.
What characteristics do you associate with being strong? Will power, and good morals. It's determination to make action to your dreams and goals.
How are you doing today? I am hanging in there. I need prayers and positive healing vibes. My brother has gone through a lot his life, four heart surgeries, his amputee due to heart and blood clot infection, and he had strokes. (My disabilities are mental where he has way more physical things.) He has a bad stomach infection and Afib (heart out of control), in which if not healed soon can cause another infection in his heart. I hope they can treat and heal him. He was infected that he passed out on Sunday.
If I am ever called "strong", it is a compliment that I wish I could receive.
As for qualities, I dunno... In most definitions it involves being able to lift & move heavy things. I can only do that to a very limited extent.
I don't like being called strong. At worst, it feels condescending or dismissive of what I'm actually dealing with. Most often, it's a reminder that I'm tired of having to be strong in the first place. Sometimes, rarely, it feels good, but usually mostly if I'm already proud of myself in the first place.
Strong to me is having the mental and emotional strength to keep pushing through a situation, no matter how tough it gets. A lot of people around me have tied 'strength' to 'not showing negative emotions in tough situations', but I don't think it's weak to show emotion.
Today, I'm alright.
