on the topic of recording devices, my college actually loans out echo livescribe smart pens. I've only done the demo with it to see how it works so far, but after recording you can actually touch where you wrote and it'll start playing back the audio from that point, and when you plug it in to the pc to charge it adds the notes you wrote to the cloud. It's even capable of converting handwriting to d searchable text. I haven't used it much, but i already feel like i wish I'd had it sooner and not just for my last 2 years of college. They're not the cheapest option for recording devices, but sure as heck is coolest to me
@ReclusiveReptile Thanks for sharing that! There are so many options that didn't exist or else were way out of reach from when I last did any coursework! It's great to hear about some of the new options - it's awesome they loan them out so that poor students don't have to pay out of pocket!
