Diabetes, Prediabetes, High Blood Sugar
Hi, I was wondering if anyone is experiencing prediabetes, high blood sugar, or diabetes? I was diagnosed with prediabetes, and I am one count away from having diabetic blood sugar. Any knowledge I can gain about managing this condition is much appreciated. I feel like there's a stigma and lack of information about diabetes. Thank you very much, and take good care of yourselves, everyone.
Hi cuddlecat. We've been talking and I came across your post but I am somewhat of a prediabetic. I have insulin resistance and I see an endochronologist to get it under control. He has me on a diet where I'm supposed to eat foods low in sugars, fruit is an exception because those are natural sugars and also avoiding carbohydrates found in things like white bread, pasta, potatoes, ect. Try replacing your white breads with wheat breads and smaller portions have helped me lose more than 60 lbs. He also has me taking metform. I'd suggest to see an endocrinologist. Good luck :)
