Fibromyalgia
I was scrolling through but wasn’t able to find anyone else with fibromyalgia so I made this! I’m 13 (I’ll be 14 pretty soon) and I have juvenile fibromyalgia which is a chronic disease that causes widespread pain and other symptoms. I have pain in my legs mostly sometimes it’s so bad that I can’t walk or I’ll just start crying. I used to be a professional athlete and was planning (and had a good shot) at going to the Olympics when I got older but now I can’t even run without falling to the ground in tears and it causes me a lot of pain and stress to think that I used to be so strong and now I’m like this and pretty much useless. I can’t do normal activities and I use a cane at school. It’s so hard to explain to people what’s wrong with me and when I try they blow it off and think it’s not that bad just because I’m not actually injured. I just want to find people that understand

I can imagine at that age not a lot of people are very understanding of invisible illnesses, especially when they saw what you were doing before.
It's unfair to not have that support when you're trying to adjust to a major change.
I have fibromyalgia so I understand the pain, it is a horrible disease and the pain has made me cry and unable to move as well, I need help with moving/getting up sometimes because the pain is that bad
I know that you wrote this years ago. So maybe you won't even see this. But I hope you do.
I've never even heard of someone being diagnosed at such a young age. I know ive had it since I was 11 or 12 and I am 26 now. Became a mom three and half years ago and my symptoms sky rocketed and ive hit a very low point in my life and trying to work my way to being better. Been dignosised with several other conditions as well. Things are hard. But I can relate so much to what you are saying and just wanted to reach out.

@Raykozume - im so sorry about the misspelling. I barely remember how to use this app, and can't figure out how to edit things, and am a horrible speller, and bad memory from the fibro. ð«¢ð¥´
