Armistice Day Discussion & Disability
heyy all so as this day is close to British History im wanting to do a bit of a discussion but wasnt a full on discussion yes many would say this should be in veterans SC however it overlaps
Many Veterans were given disabilities from serving their country although this has been extremly tough for you today we thankyou for your service the Americans call today veterans day but in Britain its always been Armistice Day
on the 11th November 11th day 11th hour Last Post is played then we have 2 mins of silence to honour those that served survived or those that didnt make it we do this to never forget their sacrifice they did for us
Questions to answer if you choose or you can share with us a memory you have or a poem to honour the day maybe something creative
Is there anyone here who is a veteran?
Did you become injured for serving your country?
Would you like to share with us?
Below is a poem i wish to share for today

We will never Forget them Thankyou to all Veterans who Served my Country and the other Countries who needed them

@CaringBrit Beautiful post!!! Really good job. I didn't serve in the military but my brother did and he did end up coming back from the war with PTSD. He fights it everyday by living a holistic lifestyle. I look up to his bravery and courage for being so resilient. I love you Richard!
@baylinAnderson123 thankyou very much and aww such a sweet post about your brother at the end there sorry to hear he got PTSD though must be awful for him however glad to hear he has courage is resilient and that you look up to him thank him for his service for me
