Disability Support: Cumulative AMA!

Hello, everyone!

In support of the Day of Acceptance, Disability Support's teaming up with a couple other subcommunities to celebrate! In this thread we're going to be doing a Q&A. How this works is you can basically ask any question you'd like and if you have an answer, feel free to answer the questin! It's essentially an open session.

The Day of Acceptance is about celebrating the lives of disabled people! It was founded by someone who believed that everyone was able to follow their dreams and do the best they could regardless of the circumstances. To quote the organisation who started it, Friends, tell the world you embrace who you are; a person with social rights, who has an opinion, who has interests, who has goals and who loves life; a person who is empowered to make a difference in the world and not be without a voice in society. You are not living disabled, you are living.
