Funny lovable stories about your pets

We all know just how much a pet can bring a smile to you face. I adopted a street dog that carved out a niche in my heart when I was walking from the supermarket to my house about 4 years ago. I looked down into a box where a Chinese woman was selling puppies and I reached down and he promptly bit me.

So of course I took him home.

Every morning my dog wakes up by walking over to the wall, barking at it furiously for a good 3 minutes, and then laying back down. I'm at a loss to explain this behavior but it works fairly well as an alarm clock if one accepts having a really unreliable alarm clock.

My dog was born and bred and gentically molded by generations of street dogs living in the very very cold winters of Northen China. Cold weather doesn't bother him too much. Which is why it's so funny watching people with their poodles and how they dress them up with coats and shoes to go out for a quick pee when my dog is rolling in the snow and having a grand old time with it.

yet as soon as it hits warmer weather, he's a refugee under my bed where it is cooler for most of the day till it cools down at night.

He likes to wake me up by jumping up on my bed, laying on the pillow, and then using his feet to push me off the pillow and often a few well place farts.

I often think my dog is karma for every horrible thing I've done.

Still love him though, he's a great fellow to have about, I consider him to be my child.
