How is your self-care going?

Hello everyone! Sometimes it would be positive to reflect and see if our self-care is going on in the right direction, if we are really giving us all the chances for a good one! Is it so for you? Do you maybe realize you could do more than you are doing for yourself? If yes, in what way? Could you plan a better self-care path then?

A big hug to you all !!

@ilenia5 Recently I have been exercising more frequently, which I think has defintely been leading my self-care in the right direction.

@ilenia5 It's been getting better! The only thing is I can be very lazy on my days off of work.

@Mellietronx

Awesome! You are doing a great job then! Well done!

Well yes, it can happen to feel lazy when we have days off work or school but we can also see them like a moment to just relax!! When the "to do" list is done (with our main priorities) then we can also just follow our way to be and be nicely lazy like cats :P .... who says that we need to be 24h productive ??

A big hug!

I find my physical self-care to be frustrating, tiring and overwhelming at times. I really wish my needs were the same as those without illnesses/disabiltities, but they aren't.

I do feel much better compared to my lowest point though, and all that effort has paid off. Ultimately it has been worth it, but I do wish to learn more about my body and get some simple self-care fixes - not sure if those exist for my needs or not!

I just started on a weekly plan. I track all my meals and exercise on it. I'm doing this to drop weight and get on a better sleeping schedule. While these things don't help with bad hearing, they certainly do impact overall quality of life.

Also just took my dog out of for a walk, which is always relaxing.

I started self care a class at the gym , plus try journal daily on ways to improve having a routine to stick to .
I am sleeping better as I schedule my time to rest and want to build up to go to gym a bit more as I know good for wellbeing
