Meeting Needs
In response to yesterday's forum post regarding evacuation, keeping all of those aspects in mind is definitely important! However, in some areas, such as areas more prone to disaster than others, it can be difficult to ensure those aspects. Depending on what type of country you live in, evacuation can be harder than others. For example, an evacuation in America or Canada may be easier than an evacuation in a tropical island, as there are more places to evacuate to and natural disasters are less likely in a land-locked country. Do you feel your needs can be met during an evacuation?

I think I covered this a bit in the other topic already. It really just all depends. If it's something smaller scale, where I don't need to worry about extra triggers, probably.
Something larger scale? I would worry about being able to get everything I need.
Some supplies aren't readily available either. For example, I was supposed to get 2 self-release tourniquettes from the clinic, so that while one was washed and drying I would have another. I only ended up getting a 2nd when put in contact with a drug company and I finally got a drug specific travel bag - years after being on treatment. It's not something that medical supply companies or phamacies carry either. Some things are a little bit easier to get, but still it's not like pharmacies carry them, so I would have to wait for someone like the Red Cross or drug company to be able to bring in all supplies or get all the red tape with another hospital to get everything I need to take care of myself.
Also, not all hospitals carry my emergency meds.
