Hi,

I’m Darcilyn (I guess you can’t change your account name). I’m a 40-year-old woman who was born without limbs (phocomelia). About five years ago, I started to fear going outside. This fear turned into full-blown agoraphobia. I also suffer from depression, general anxiety, and panic disorder; all of this culminated in my participation in a partial hospitalization program for three months back in 2020.

I downloaded this app to try to find a little more support. Living with agoraphobia is very isolating, and I have only one friend who lives in Europe (I’m in Washington State). I guess I’m looking for people to talk with.

@Aalsaana hello welcome to cups ❤ I'm lola. I was born with all my limbs, but tw) over the years I've lost my legs and most of my fingers. So I can sympathise with you there. I live in a care home, I don't ever go outside the carehome. Cause depression and anxiety, just fear of what's out there. Yep! I know it gets lonely and very isolating. So thank God you found this site ❤❤ there are listeners ready to support you through it all. Chat groups where you will make hundreds of friends, and self growth help guidance too😁 this is your safe place, I wish you all the best ❤ hugs you, welcome to our cups family
