Hey guys I'm new here :-) I have FND and blindness and recently gotten into tactile collages.
This Monday
Share a stupid story or event that happened because of your disability.
I was squeezing lemons from my brothers lemon tree to freeze some lemon juice and use the rest to make lemonade. I was done with the last lemon when I accidentally tipped over the entire container and therefore wasted the entire tree for that year lol.
Here's another story! My brother is fully sited and we had just gotten Chick-fil-A. They didn't give us a barbecue sauce so my brother got some from the fridge. I dipped my nuggets into the sauce and then I was confused. It tasted strange so I asked my brother to look at it. It turns out he put maple syrup beside my nuggets instead of barbecue sauce 😂
Anybody anywhere can make mistakes :-)

That is a sad thing about the lemons, you can't even make lemonade lol!
and honey doesn't sound that bad but expecting BBQ sauce maybe that was the shock.

As for me, I don't have a story that really stands out...after years of getting up, working & living like everyone else, I was diagnosed in early 2017 (incorrectly, but that's another story). Once before that & at least four times after, I fell down. I might as well have been a toddler learning how to walk. 😂 It was part of figuring out how to handle my condition & work around it, when possible.
