Americas view on discrimination

I'd like to take the time to address the United States 'discrimination' laws so people can be aware of how people are treated not only in the general public but companies as well. Recently I applied to a 'tech support' position through a company named Conduent which verbally abused me for being autistic and having a learning disability. The comments that were made will be described below and I'm not doing this to bash the company but instead inform people about how dangerous it is to work in the United States at this given time and that nothing has really changed in the last hundred or so years. There will be people that decide to say that this country is a 'safe' place to live and with that I'd like you to ask yourself if this country sounds safe with the comments that have described. It's unkown if I'll be arrested, tried in court, etc for making these posts and it's very possible but to me it's worth knowing that nobody will have to put up with this ever again. With that being said if you're looking for a position please hold off on going to the USA if you're in another country and watch which companies you apply to as the United States is a very dangerous place to be if you have a disability, mental illness, etc. Please also note that these comments will be made by other companies within the United States as well.

Manager comments

Nobody should ever struggle this way

Based on what he's seen it's obvious Im autistic → Happened after an accomodation plan

I shouldn't say sorry because my performance doesn't prove I'm sorry

I should be doing better than everyone on the team based on the help that I'm getting

I need to get a grip on my learning issues and that I need to do so fast

That hes sorry that he has to say this but its obvious I have some type of learning disability

In addition to this

Trying to force an employee out of the company because of learning issues

Having several weeks where we didnt even do a 1 on 1 in terms of calls

Not bothering to give tips on how to better myself during calls

Giving false information (e.g. not saving cases because the survey will go to me, etc)

I'm sorry you've experienced these things. I've had issues with my illnesses and employment as well. I've found a really good fit currently, I hope you can find a supportive employer too.
