Becoming more self conscious about your disability

I had my knee surgery not that long ago and then I started to become self conscious about the way I walk. I never liked it, but know it's another one of those things that make me not like myself

What would you say to a friend who was in the same situation?

@Redrose121 Welcome! Since the surgery was fairly recent, is it expected that your walking will improve?
There are some resources on the site about improving your self esteem if you're interested in that, regardless if your walk improves or not.

It is expected that my walking is suppose to improve, but because my knee has always turned inward even before the surgery it has started to bug me more and I'm not sure if I'm sabotaging the surgery

My friend suffered at work and received a certain degree of disability. She recovered for a long time and now she also has problems with her walk, she is very worried about this. She works remotely now, almost never leaves her home (only to the courts, it's good that there is a website that helps her get all the compensation), and I don't know how to help her.
