How fashion and beauty brands can be more accessible
Do you like fashion? Have you had issues with accessibility? I loved this article and thought I would share. Feel free to share your thoughts.
I would add some things. Materials are mentioned, but metals are not. I wish nickel free metals were more common. There are products at least that can help deal with metals in clothing and accessories, but it would just be simplier not to have to deal with it in the first place. Also, the number of times where there is zero information and no one can give me an answer regarding what's in a metal is frustrating.
Scented products is another things - both providing scent free options and where scented products are positioned. I've waited in line to purchase clothing and had an asthma attack as the perfumes a store sold were right by the cash registers. Deparatment stores often have their perfume section right by the elevators or the opening to the rest of the mall. I can't even use the entrance door for my pharmacy, as it goes right into the perfume section which is at least separate from the rest of the store - I go in through the exit.
I like fashion, I was born premature so I'm smaller than my age, so my clothes tend to be younger kids clothes.
