"Is that your business"
Hi:
I had a meeting with my supervisor today who I feel was very rude and callous. When we checked in, I asked what he did over the weekend and he said he had dinner with some friends. When I asked him, he told snapped at me. "Is that your business" before telling me it about some networks of ours.
Excuse me for breathing...
When I cried about it, he said that he wanted to set some boundaries because he wants to keep things professional. What? First of all, he normally has not problem telling me who he gets together with.
That really hurt my feelings

Im so sorry summer shy that your supervisor made you feel this way. My perspective is i feel it was a harmless question. Unfortunately, Some people may not draw a line until they "feel like" drawing that line, and than when they draw the boundary line it hurts the other person as he didn't set that boundary before so how you were really supposed to know? i understand you were hurt and upset. I hope that things get resolved, did you have a conversation with him later on when things cooled down, and talked through it? Also you never know some may be having horrible days, and they don't mean to take it out on you, it could be your just the closest person to take it out on<3
feel better love, and chin up!<3

Thank you so much, he was also condescending with me yesterday when I attempted to ask about one of our programs we offer. I asked if they offer a version for people who are in my field. “What did I say?” “However, I didn’t say bring up your field.”
I hate to say this but you need another job. I don’t tolerate that kind of behavior and neither should you. I’m sorry he was a jerk.
