Some questions to consider

User Profile: Azalea98

I often find myself wondering these questions:

1)What is the thing I struggle with most due to my learning disability?

2)Are there struggles that I am facing unnecessarily?

3)Is there anything that can be done to make this easier? And can I talk to someone about it?

So I wanted to ask them to the community. I would love to hear your answers ♥️

@Asherwolfice

I very much sympathise with the struggle to learn other languages. I took courses on french and Spanish at the same time and my dyslexia wasn't happy 😛

As for the support you are able to receive through your collage that is amazing ♥️

Thank you for sharing with us!

@Asherwolfice i understand you struggle with learning other languages and chemistry. It's challenging for sure. Despite the unnecessary struggles you reached out to a support center which seems like a great step moving forward!

Congratulations on reaching out to build your support network!

@Rebekahwriter13 I understand you don't have a learning disability and you live with social issues of yours, masses of people overwhelm you. I understand you tried to talk about the things that are unnecessary struggles with your therapist but they are trying to push your depression. That's sounds like a tough situation. Please know if you feel like talking about whatever, there are plenty of listeners here ready to listen to you!

@kindSoul10 I've tried listeners. I would get a good one and they would leave or get overwhelmed, . . but I have gotten a lot who just want one session . I really want a long thing

@Rebekahwriter13 I understand some listeners are not a good fit and you'd prefer to have a long-term listener.

Have you tried browsing for a long-term listener on the website?

@Azalea98 I’ve got dyslexia, I’ve been in therapy half my life because of that. I am lucky that I had the privilege that I had someone who I learned reading and writing with. My spelling is nearly perfect and I am really good at reading (because of therapy). I still struggle with reading things out loud because then it’s really hard for me to read words and I’m starting to stutter. It sometimes ends with me crying in the corner because it’s incredibly frustrating. Another thing is that I’m really bad at reading comprehension which makes learning languages and writing tests unnecessarily hard because we always have reading comprehension exercises in our tests here.

@JustMeUwU

I have dyslexia too I understand how hard it can be and how often it feels as though the system is just up against us. I am glad you are able to receive some support for the distress this causes you ♥️
