Hi my name is katie also known as blissfultouch29. How are you guys doing? I have a learning disability and I was vision impaired from elementary to 9th grade. I do not mind talking about this. Feel free to ask questions below on you want to know.

Hey there Katie! I'm doing well, thanks. Hope you are too. It's nice that you're opening the door to talk about this. What do you feel has been the most challenging thing to overcome? How did you grow from it as a result? Also, welcome! Glad to have you here:)💜
@innateJoy9602 ooo I love those questions! I am okay by the way. I think three of the most challenging things for me to overcome are when people see my IEP for accommodations they seem to have something in their head that I can't do something or if I mention I have a disability they immediately think I can't be in certain classes so I have to fight to be in certain classes. Another one is that I sometimes struggle with accepting that I have a learning disability but I am working on being more accepting of my disability the last one is getting accommodations in college and you have to go through an intake process and the questions aren't towards my disability or programs that some colleges talk about don't fit but they don't understand that and keep talking about that program. How I grew from it is with the help of my former Spanish teacher in high school helped me and speaking up for myself helped. And my former middle school band teacher helped me so much. Feel free to ask me more questions.
