What chair do you use that helps support you best? I'm eventually going to be getting a desktop computer, and am trying to think ahead as to what desk chairs might best support me, even when I'm having pain. Thanks!

Well, it really depends on how bad your pain levels are and if they increase significantly when you are sitting upright.

For me, I experience extreme pain when sitting upright for more than 30 minutes and if I'm on a hard surface the pain increases incrementally after the first 5. The best type of chair I've found is the short arm wingback chair: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/1d/77/ef/1d77eff6a695511532680cb19eff9ccf.jpg

There is padding and I can stuff extra pillows wherever I need, and yet it still, sort of, fits under a desk or table. I picked up mine at the thriftstore for less than $10.

You will find something that works for you.

Cheers,

I have a couple of suggestions from my own chair hunts: get one that reclines where you can adjust the angle of the recline, and make sure you have enough padding on the chair and that it has two solid arms you can use to help get up. Best wishes to you!
