Undiagnosed
I feel like i am losing my mind!
I have been suffering for 4 years and iam just getting made to suffer, well thats how it feels. Doctors have mentions chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia to me and a lot of my symptoms link with these conditions...
Is there anyone who suffers with these.... if so how long did it take you to get diagnosed?
P.S:- i am a teenager (14 years)
Those conditions are hard to diagnose, especially fibromyalgia. I have POTs, which is often confused with CFS so they don't immediately diagnose because they know it could be a side symptom of an entirely different condition. I would recommend asking to see specialists to get loads of tests and proper diagnosis.
My mother has fibromyalgia, strong painkillers have helped her, but please consult a doctor. :)

I see doctors physio therapists and i am waiting for a referal to a rheumotalgist to be accepted so hopefully it will help. i just can't get through my school exams without support and i need a diagnosis for the support :\ its all great haha <3 also they wont give me stronger meds so yeah ahah x

I've been seeing a Rheumatologist, they can send you to all kinds of departments. He sent me to eye departments, for EDS/JHS and they were confused as to why a Rheumotologist sent me, ahha. So a Rhematologist may really help you find a diagnosis. :)

Hi I'm Jodie I'm 13 and for the past 3/4 years of my life I've been suffering from similar symptoms and I year ago I went to the doctors and they said that the only thing they could think of was chronic fatigue so I was diagnosed with thAt and was but on lots of medication and iron but I knew that there was something else so I kept going back but nothing until a year ago I decided to go to a psychiatrist and they diagnosed me with severe depression , bipolar and manic episodes I finally felt like this was what's wrong and just recently I was told I had did a reality disorder.
