Struggling after inpatient discharge

I have almost been out of hospital for 2 months now where I was treated for anorexia for 7 1/2 months. I'm really starting to struggle again. I feel like I'm relapsing and I don't know what to do. I have support in place but it's not actually very practical and I feel like I'm drowning. I just want it to go away so I can feel better and continue with my life and be happy. I'm trying so, so hard to ignore all the disordered thoughts and the last thing I want is to end up back in hospital/the grasps of anorexia again but I can feel myself slipping back into bad habits already. Please, please can anyone advice what to do or what may help? Any support would be greatly appreciated x x x

Hey, @elesrecovery! from what you shared it seems like you have been out of the hospital for a while. It looks like you are struggling with your ED again and you are afraid of a relapse, it can be confusing with all these thoughts and scary which ends up in us getting confused, while you have support, it is not practical which adds to the worries, you feel like drowning, I am sorry you feel this way. You want to go things to the way they were, that seems like a natural response to tough situations. It looks like you are trying hard to not give into the negative thoughts so you won't go back to the hospital. You can view this post I made a while back to discuss coping strategies for Anorexia, it may help you a bit. I believe having a support system can be of great help.
