I used to really struggle with what the number on the scale did to me! I hardly ever felt satisfied after stepping on the scale, and even if I did, it was a short-term satisfaction. THANKFULLY - that was years ago and I have learned many ways to deal with my thoughts. I have never felt healthier... and I don't even weigh myself anymore. The numbers don't have power over me!
It means I'm fat lol but that's the least of my problems
Imhappy now.
people tell meall the time that its just a number. but i define myself by that number.
I am at a point where I can't have a scale in my house anymore- I gave it to my therapist when I came home from treatment. That number would dictate the rest of my day- what I could or couldn't eat, how long I would have to be on the treadmill, if I was a good person (all though that thought was not there long) or a bad person. I still struggle when I am at friends/families houses who have scales, I am not strong enough to resist them but I do way backwards at doctors offices. I have a pretty good idea of my weight and have been having a harder time accepting it- logically I know it means I am healthy and taking care of myself but Ed still tells me I am a failure for letting it go up so much.
It makes me feel like I'm dying, even if it's gone down. I just can't handle it. I feel like it grows everytime and it's mocking me.

To be honest, victory. It means... victory.
the number on the scale decides what i will and will not eat. it will decide how i feel for the day. it makes me feel fat, like a faliure, and ugly. it reminds me that i am unloved. it decides how many miles i run... it ruins me.
