So, basically my eating habits started in late 2021. In 2021 I gained a lot of weight because I was in a bad depression state and food was my comfort and It started to show then i wouldn’t wear shirts at school and I would wear hoodies but summer 2022 I started to loose weight like <edit> and then I stopped then I started to eat regular again then I started l getting more comfortable then I gained more weight then summer 2023 that’s when my eating disorder start to get bad so I starved a lot and I lost weight and I was happy and then in the winter I started to getting depression again and then I started eating again and I would tell myself I’ll start starving next week and I did I I just gained the weight back and I started to get really self conscious and then I started to throw up after I ate. Now it’s summer 24 and now I avoid eating then I just binge at night and I don’t know how to stop I go on diets and they just lead me to bringe eating. I’m not diagnosed with a Ed but i see social media posts said I might have one and in school one time they did presentations about Ed’s and I wanted to cry and i was having a lot of anxiety and yeah that’s my vent if you have any advice or if you relate to me then please feel free to reply

thank you for listening

I'm really glad that you posted.  It is so difficult to know if you have an eating disorder or not, and so frustrating when you struggle with the way you are eating and the responses to your eating going from binging to restricting to purging.  It's not uncommon.

There is a screening tool you can take to give you an idea if you should seek a consultation with a professional on eating disorders.  You can find it here

It sounds like you know there is an issue, even if it's not an eating disorder, just by your reaction to the ED coverage at school.  Who do you trust that you might share what's going on with?
