I’m spiralling out of control. I’ve noticed I’m being triggered over the smallest things and it’s affecting my job! I can’t breathe at times due to the demand and I know people around me have noticed. I know I need food because I’m shaky and dizzy yet I will ignore it or eat then work out. I just don’t know how much longer I can keep going. Family around me don’t help either as they constantly judge or have negative comments. I don’t look thin I’m overweight some family have said. :(

Hi AmbitiousSky,
I am sorry to read this. I know how difficult it can be to feel out of breath, out of control, out of the chance of getting out of this hole you've digged for yourself. And I am particularly sorry your family doesn't seem to understand and, instead of helping, makes such ugly comments.
Eating disorders can affect anybody, and it doesn't matter what shape their bodies are.
Do you have the chance to speak about this with anyone? Do you have a friend you can share your thoughts with? If not, I am here - please message me (DM) and I will do my best to be here for you.
I am suffering from an eating disorder too - that's why I am here - and we might find support in one another.
Lots of love,
D.

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling so much and having physical symptoms and are without support in this.  It sounds like you are in a really difficult place.

What helps you when you are in a better space with eating?

Are you able to focus on anything that lifts you up or gives you strength about yourself and reasons that you fight to eat, to fight against the eating disorder?

Know we are here for you.  Post as you need to.

You shouldn’t torture yourself with fasting. Even if you lose weight, you’ll likely gain it back after the diet. It's important to eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. I started seeing results after I read an article https://betterme.world/articles/skinny-waist-big-butt/ and decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle, not just focus on losing weight. Every week, I see more improvement, and it's so exciting. I wish you good luck too!
