Struggling with food

Hey, there... i've been just thinking... well i used to starve myself and eat like one or two really small food per day. And I didn't even have the feeling like hunger... I just didn't feel hungry at all... but then I got new pills from my psychiatrist and I started eating again. It's been for like 8 months... and I still feel guilty every time i eat... and now i struggle with overeating, bc im hungry like all the time no matter what I eat... Im trying to eat more food with protein and fibre, but it just doesn't help at all. And im still thinking that I wanna again starve myself bc i was thinner and everyone was telling me like "oh, you look so good now" and "you look prettier, bc you're thinner" and I have it all in my mind and all the negative thoughts that my family used to tell me like - "you're fat, do something with yourself, look at this girl, how pretty and thin she is..." etc...

And I don't really know how to tell this to my psychologist bc I don't think it's needed - i eat, i don't starve myself now... and I have more serious problems that I need to focus on... but this also hurts me and im really shy to talk about it, bc im overweighted... now more than i used to be bc of the overeating... but I also can't really stop eating or eat less and food became a comfort thing for me - when I feel really bad, i eat... 🙈

Many people have issues with food ... Talking about it and you seeing your triggers is important.  Most of the people i know and myself .....our eating patterns are more in our head / feelings then our hunger.

Many eat cause they are bored some while frustrated or stressed or I eat when mad.  not the average reason but when i examined my pattern it showed me when i start searching the kitchen for something.

 I feel people even those shy or struggle to speak up with people can find the strength when they see the importance of the situation.  I believe You can be a warrior for yourself.    Medications have their place but i knew many who had for depression and anxiety and they overate and gained serious weight making them more stressed or depressed.   Ask you dr if another type might help with this?

Well I have meds for depression and im actually kinda scared that some change will make me feel worse again.... like I don't feel really good but the meds helped a bit and the rest is about some other parts of depression etc.

@Parllie

Talking about and finding ways to cope last much longer then medications IMO
