Welp guys,...back in it again. I cant stop restricting. Ill eat just enough to stop the pain in my stomach, but thats just a lil amount. On thursday night I was 132.0lbs and now I am 128.8lbs!! Even though I want to lose more faster, I know that itll get noticed too easily. So I have to keep it at this rate and it wont be as noticeable.

@brenbird

Hey there. I understand the need to lose weight but please do not make yourself hurt in the process of doing so. I have gone through anorexia myself (mine was for other reasons) and its not something you want to live through. Its not an easy situation to get out of.

Your feelings are valid and I understand why you might need to lose weight but there are healthy ways to do so arent there?

I dont think that your goal in in the process of losing weight to lose control of your appetite and go in deep to another issue.

You matter, you are strong and you are great as you are.

Sending hugs and courage your way

Hi, your struggles are definitely heard. I have gone through a situation almost identical to this and had the same thoughts. For a while, I thought that my weight loss was going well, until it wasn't. Losing weight can be a very, very deep rabbit hole to go down, and it can feel scary and also feel like it's the only option.
Why did you first start to try and lose weight? Was it an internal (like diabetes) or an external (like body dysmorphia) factor? Have you tried other methods instead of restricting? I do exercise myself because restricting started impacting my daily life.
You are perfect, and no matter what, people will be here to support you, even when it feels like you're alone. I am always here to talk.
Sending love 🫶

Its external from my mind and hating my body and the way others look at me. No but I also excerse some while restricting.

I am so sorry; disliking your body can be a horrible mindset to be in. Have you talked to anyone about it? And it's good that you're exercising! Exercise can help the body in many ways, but if you're restricting, it can backfire. For me, it took much longer to recover from my binge-restrict cycle when I was restricting and also exercising at the time. Exercise requires a lot more fuel for your body, and restricting can make your body feel pretty bad. How would you feel if you tried to just exercise and not restrict?
