I don't know why this time is much harder this time 19 days clean then I relapsed. I've been trying to eat but some days I'm not hungry and I really hate it when someone tries and forces me to eat it ousted me so far over the edge and I just wish they would understand. I know they care because they know I hardly eat as it is but still it annoys me so much like they honestly make me eat when I just automatically feel full. It's nice now to gave someone who I can talk to and has my back when someone tries and forces me to eat. It Was Nice That The guy I Really like Stuck Up For me. So I'm trying to start all over again. Day 1, I've been trying to get back into running but it's becoming obsessively and I know I need to breathe.

@decembernight0608 - I know it's frustrating to feel yourself slip back, but you still are making great progress. I remember all too well how irritating it is to have other people constantly telling you what to eat, even when it comes from a place of love. I hope you can start to let that go and not let it stop you from eating since it sounds like you recognize that you need more than you are. And as for running, I'm really proud of you for recognizing that it's becoming a bit too much of an obsession. Understanding what's going on in your head is half the battle - after that, it's keeping it in check.

You can do this, and I'm thrilled that you have someone supporting you and helping you through some of those situations. Take care

@MidniteAngel - thanks for sharing. These are some really startling statistics and point to just how important it is that we start to work as a society to combat the stigma of mental illness and the cultural elements impacting eating disorder prevalence.

I dont know if I can even say I have an eating disorder. I eat the same way I've eaten my entire life, the only thing that has changed is my outlook on my body and my love hate relationship with good. I hate the fact that I can't control myself when food is around, especially when I am considered obese on the BMI scale.

@TheEternalStruggle - whether or not you have an eating disorder, it sounds like your relationship with food is interfering with your enjoyment of life, and that's worth exploring. It can be incredibly frustrating when you don't feel like you have the control you want or are unhappy with the decisions you've made. But anytime you need some extra support, there's a whole community here who wants to support you! Take care

I hate hate hate being a binger with an anorexic mindset. It's so so so hard. I don't know what to do with life anymore. I miss being happy when I was ed-free 6 years ago.

@friendlyship2002 - I'm sorry to hear you're struggling so much right now. But it sounds like you are ready for recovery and really want it, which is enormous. What resources do you have that you can use to start working towards recovery? Do you have people you can talk to about this? It's not easy, but it is 100% possible, and I know that you can get there. Feel free to reach out any time if I can help support you. Take care and stay strong!

My sister has anorexia and she's barely eating anything lately. It's making me feel terrible because I hate myself for eating more than her (but also exercising more) and I still won't lose angry I just want to be skinny like her. I feel like a pig, even though if people saw what I ate, they'd probably send me to therapy or something. I don't want to tell anyone because no one will believe me. I'm not skinny enough to be anorexic and I just want to be that skinny before anyone catches on :/

@Monarda

You and your sister need to be there for each other. You're stronger than this awful illness. You know that people will be concerned, you need to seek help before it's too late. Have you ever felt thin enough or pretty enough? The number on the scales will not tell what a great person you are. It will not tell you how much those around you love you. It can never begin to describe how kind, funny, smart and amazing you are. You have the power to chase happiness. Food is not the enemy, self-hate is. Value your self-worth. Because your beauty is endless. You are worthy of all the love in the world.

@whymewhythis Why do you need to be (edited) pounds?

User Profile: Anomalia
Anomalia September 30th, 2015

@whymewhythis - I know it can feel like you absolutely need to be at a certain weight and like being there will make everything else worth it, but will it really? As you've lost weight this far, have you been happier, or have you been still anxious and sad and now extra dizzy so you can't enjoy things you used to? I've been where you are and I understand how hard it is to let go of, but I also know that no weight ever will feel small enough. I want you to be safe and happy. Take care of yourself, and reach out if you need any extra support.
