this site and everyone on ithas been very helpful:]] I came on here because of all the new stress and i knew i could not get through it with out some support of a group. I was on another forum before this and would NOT recomend it to anyone it was very "clicky" alot of what "they said was very hurtful or triggering. I'm glad i found this site and would recommend it :]]

hi again, it seems that you have relationship problems more than unhealthy eating habits. are you both working?
my partner makes more money than me, but my income is enough for my lifestyle and i don't ask him to pay for my expenses. so we write down our expenses in two columns, for home and for myself. if i buy stuff that we both agree to consume together, it goes in the home column (or bills, healthcare etc) , if it's a personal vice and other person doesn't want to consume or pay for it, it goes into personal column. at the end of the month we calculate both home columns to spend equal money for home.

i hope it's clear enough. before he calculated everything and i gave half of our expense after a couple of months, but it made me rather uninterested during the month and shocked at the end of the month. like this we both see everyday, who spent how much, for what, and we both are more aware of our expenses.

hope it helps!

We both work for home selling antiques and collectables ( i am currently looking for a job outside of the home) our income is unpredictable(sometimes we make $500 a week sometimes $50) we do good mostly but with loans and bills it kinda gets out of hand when he spends $200 every two weeks on consumables that i want no part of. I like the idea of splitting his mine and together :]]

I feel like the scale is ultimately what says how I feel; and therefore after checking today, like today is absolutely going to be a very bad day. (And I know it's not the best to check more than once a week usually, but that's a habit that is also very hard to break lately.)

Put some really dirty stuff on the scale. Smelly socks or the things that you hate. Math does the trick for me. Sweetie, constantly checking won't make it go away *hugs*. Just let go. Take a deep breathe and start your day. Remember, its never too late to start :)
